“Voice Memos” has been completely redesigned in iOS 12 to be more intuitive. I have given it a try and found it pretty good. There are a couple of features that have caught my eyes in the app. While one is the ability to change audio quality, the other is to auto delete voice memos.
You get the option to preset the time after which the recordings will be removed automatically. For instance, you can choose to get rid of them immediately or after certain days. If you want to keep them forever, you also have the option to do that.
How to Auto Delete Voice Memos on iPhone and iPad Running iOS 12
Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iOS device.
Step #2. Now, scroll down and tap on Voice Memos.
Step #3. Next, you need to tap on Clear Deleted.
Step #4. Next up, you have multiple options:
- After 1 Day
- After 7 Days
- After 30 Days
You can choose any of the above options depending on your need.
iOS 12 has been appreciated for being more secure and smooth. Some of the features that have already found favor from me are “Siri Shortcut”, “Screen Time” and the “Grouped Notifications”. Let us know your personal feedback about the OS and what are the things that you have liked in it.
