3D Touch feature meets the high expectations of users, who were keen to know what is special in iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. By introducing this feature, Apple has actually lived up to the expectations.
But like all other features, this too is not for every iPhone user. What Apple has installed is excellent; in this 3D Touch feature, there are three levels of sensitivity – Light, Medium and Firm. But users may have fingers that may not recognize this sensitivity levels.
However, there is still some hope for all users. It is universally accepted that sensitivity on finger skin varies from users to users. Perhaps this was the reason why Apple provides an excellent feature of adjustable sensitivity in iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. You can change the sensitivity levels on your iPhone.
How to Adjust 3D Touch Sensitivity on iPhone 6s/6s Plus
Step #1. Open Settings app → Tap on General.
Step #2. Tap on Accessibility → Tap on 3D Touch.
You can see a horizontal line with three features on it: Light, Medium, and Firm.
Step #3. Move 3D Touch from Medium to Light or Medium to Firm.
If you select Light, you need to give less pressure on screen, and if you choose Firm, you should give more pressure.
Moreover, if any user has soft skin, s/he can choose Light as a gentle touch would initiate action on the screen. And if a user has rough skin, s/he may select Firm option because his/her touch wouldn't wake up the screen of iPhones.
It is advisable to go for 3D TOUCH SENSITIVITY TEST of each level so that you get the best option while operating your iPhone.
Apart from iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, Apple's super thin MacBook is equipped with a track pad based on excellent touch technology.
