Apple has added more storage to its top-tier iCloud storage plan without increasing the price! The tech giant has decided to double the storage for its most expensive plan – the $9.99 per month option. Hence, subscribers will now be getting 2TB of iCloud storage instead of the previous 1TB. What's more, they can also add a family member to a shared iCloud storage plan in iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra.
Apple provides free storage up to 5GB. After that, if you want to have more iCloud storage you can switch to the three available plans–50GB ($0.99/month), 200GB ($2.99/moth) and the new one– 2TB ($9.99). Only the customers using 200GB and 2TB plans can share their iCloud storage with other members of the Family Sharing group.
