Messages app has got huge improvements in iOS 10. Boasting of plenty of fabulous features such as Markup, third-party app store and more significantly; screen effects & bubble effects to liven up messaging experience, the app has become really awesome, hasn’t it?
The all new bubble effects feature allow you to send iMessage chat bubbles with different animated effects to add emotion to each message.
iOS 10 lets you send bubble effect from the Messages app, the new interactive notifications or even from the Lock screen. If you are willing to rev up your messaging time, let’s have a go at this fantastic feature.
Before moving ahead, please note that;
- iOS 10 is currently available as developer beta.
- To use this feature, you need to install iOS 10 on your iPhone/iPad. (Click on this link to install iOS 10 even without developer account.)
- As the latest operating system is still in beta version, you must be prepared to face several bugs on your iPhone.
- Only the Mac running macOS Sierra can receive the Invisible Ink bubble effect.
How to Send iMessage with Bubble Effect in iOS 10 on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Launch Messages app on your iOS device and then enter the message you wish to send.
Step #2. Next up, you need to press firmly (just like 3D Touch) on the Send button, which looks like an UP arrow.
Step #3. Now, you have to select the Bubble tab from the top- if in case it’s not selected.
Step #4. Up next, you will have to tap on the effect you wish to apply: There are four options to choose:
Slam: It smashes the bubble down; making the whole screen wave.
Loud: It sends a huge bubble that shakes before settling down at its place.
Gentle: It lets you send a very small bubble which quietly settles down at its place.
Invisible ink: It enables you to cover the bubble in animated noise as well as blur. You will need to swipe it out to read the message.
Step #5. Finally, you have to tap on the Send button which is to the right of the effect you chose.
How to Cancel an iOS 10 bubble Effect in iMessage
If you no longer want to use bubble effect, you can easily cancel it.
Tap on the X button at the bottom of the effects to cancel it.
