How To Add A Child Below 13 In Your Family Sharing In iOS 8

Family sharing in iOS 8 is about making sharing in a group of people more efficient. This new feature comes with plenty of pleasant utilities. The best thing about it is that you can even include a child (below 13) in your family group.

To do so, you have to become the legal guardian and take some responsibility. Family sharing lets you keep a tab on child’s spending from your parent’s device. Whenever the child wants to make any purchase or download anything, it requires your approval.

There is an Ask To Buy option that is enabled by default. Whenever the child wants to buy any music, movies or anything from app store, iTunes or iBooks even if it is free, you have to give approval. Without your approval that is sent to your device, the child can’t buy or download anything. That’s a very smart way to keep a close eye on kid’s spending.
