I still remember how pleased I was to see the stock “Health” app in iOS 8. Specifically developed to not just track your various activities like walking, running but also improve fitness; it instantly struck the right code with several iPhone users. Though there are some advanced third-party fitness apps, Health is second to none, is it?
You have to create your Medical ID to use Health perfectly on your iPhone. Furthermore, you can access it right from the Lock screen of your device.
At times, you may require accessing your Medical ID quickly; especially when meeting a doctor. And if you can get it easily even without launching the Health app, you are much better off, aren’t you?

How to Prevent the Access to Medical ID from Lock Screen in iOS 10 on iPhone/iPad
Medical ID consists of some personal information. Hence, not too many people would want to let it be accessed right from Lock screen due to privacy concern. If it is the case with you as well, disallow its casual access.
Step #1. Launch Health app on your iPhone.
Step #2. Tap on Medical ID tab at the bottom right corner.
Step #3. Now, tap on Edit.
Step #4. Toggle off the switch next to “Show When Locked”.
Step #5. Tap on Done at the top right corner to confirm the change.
That’s it!
Your Medical ID will no longer be accessed from the Lock screen. Later if you decide against it, follow the steps mentioned above and turn on the switch.
If you use Health, you may, at times, need to export/import your health data. Make sure to check out this post to get it done easily.
