“Quick Reply” is a feature that Apple boasts a lot about for its upcoming iOS 8. Folks within the jailbreak community know that it’s nothing new: quick reply tweaks have been here for a long time now.
A new tweak called Interactive Message Notifications brings iOS 8-style quick reply to your iOS 7.x device. So, if you’ve been wishing for those easy, integrated quick reply notification alerts and banners from iOS 8, here’s your chance.
Interactive Message Notifications works just like Apple’s native iOS 8 implementation of Quick Reply. With the tweak installed on your iPhone/iPad, you can reply almost instantaneously to any notification that comes from Messages. It also supports Whatsapp but that seems to be the only third-party app that the tweak supports right now. (Hope the developer adds more apps to the list soon).
When you get a message alert (as a notification banner), you pull it down a little to reveal the text-field and the Send button. Type your reply and hit Send and you’re done. Without having to leave the app you were on, you can quickly take care of any message that comes your way.

Implementations of quick reply tweaks in the past have been similar. Some have used the “alert” form where the quick reply form fills the center of the screen. The iOS 8-style implementation is neater. For folks that are on iOS 7 (iOS 7.1, 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 included), Interactive Message Notifications is definitely a useful tweak that replicates this behavior.
