Whenever we are on the move or too busy to pick up the call, most of us prefer to reply with a readymade message on the iPhone. It’s done to let the caller know that we are unable to receive the call and would respond at the appropriate time.
Even though iOS offers multiple predefined options to reply, you can choose to create custom “Respond with Text” messages on your iPhone for more personalization. I mean, you can draft a bit more professional text to send to your client or make a cool message to reply to your friends or loved ones. Let’s run through the quick steps!
How to Add Custom Message for “Respond with Text” on iPhone
Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iPhone.
Step #2. Now, scroll down and tap on Phone.
Step #3. Next, tap on Respond with Text.
Step #4. Next up, you need to type in the custom message, which you want to send. Once you have entered the text, quit the Phone app.
Going forward, you will be able to select this option during the incoming call. Simply hit the Messages icon during an incoming call and then choose the message you wish to send.
Just in case you wish to send a different message, tap on Custom. Then, type in the message and send it as usual.
