Given battery consumption, the brightness on my iPhone is almost always less than 30%. It works well for me in almost all apps and the home screen. And mostly, it saves me a battery.
But when it’s time to open the camera and shoot a few pics or click a video or two, things can get real annoying if the brightness isn’t full. Turning the brightness to full every time I open the camera is kind of tedious despite having NCSettings to quickly configure the brightness.
CamBright Cydia Tweak
Which is why CamBright is a tweak that works great for me and I think that it will help solve a problem for a lot of battery-conscious iPhone users out there.
CamBright automatically makes the iPhone brightness 100% when you open the camera app. This is an automated function, so you don’t have to manually configure the brightness or curse yourself for forgetting to increase the brightness before opening the camera app.
It is almost universally known that on the iPhone if you have a low brightness setting, you are not going to pleased with the camera user-experience. That’s a fact for any smartphone or for that matter, any digital camera too.
CamBright works only for the camera app and naturally, we’re looking for more support from the tweak, so it works on any app which accesses the camera.
CamBright has no settings to tweak or change once you install. It triggers automatically when you install and open the camera app.I am thinking that this should be a huge relief to those who use the camera occasionally whist having the iPhone brightness reduced to conserve battery.

CamBright is available on the BigBoss repo for free. Try it out.
