I have been a case hoarder ever since I started using the iPad. And hunting for the best iPad case is like searching for a needle in a haystack. And after trying various different covers and cases from like a gazillion brands I have finally met the BookBook Vol. 2 by Twelve South. I have been ardently following the brand for 9 years now and never have I been disappointed with any of its products. Earlier we reviewed Action Sleeve and today we have received BookBook Vol-2 for iPad.
The brand Twelve South has been designing beautiful and unique accessories for Apple devices exclusively since 2009 and have been loved by many. The small but mighty company comprising of only 20 members was started by a husband-and-wife team and is still headed by the couple. All the products by this brand are crafted by paying extensive attention to all the small details. The company believes “Go Big on Tiny Details.”

Protection
Being an Apple user, I have learned one thing the hard way and that is to protect my devices. Apple devices are supremely delicate and need the utmost TLC. The BookBook case definitely does a good job in protecting the iPad as it comes with two hardcovers.
The front and back hard support protects my iPad’s screen and body. While book style design with the zip protects the iPad from all 4 sides.
Design
One word, three letters, WOW… well, that’s my reaction to the beautiful design of this case. The whole case gives an amazing Book like feeling to you and it is designed so impeccably that you would mistake it for an actual book.
The dual zipper touch to this case ensures that your device is protected at all times and you can unzip it just enough to let your charging cable pass through.
The neat stitching, the zip, the inside pockets, the quality of the product is simply amazing and precise. We can see the amount of effort put into curating the product simply by its fine details.
Thoughtfulness
The case comes with a built-in kickstand to place your iPad at an angle of your liking and work on your device seamlessly.
Another really amazing touch to this case is the small pocket that comes inside the case. You could either store your important documents in the pocket or you could stash your Bluetooth keyboard inside.
The case also has room to store your Apple pencil exactly beside your iPad Magnetic Charger.
Shell
The hinged shell of the case provides an added layer of protection for your iPad and its edge to edge screen access lets you work without any distraction or hindrance.
Lifting the shell up into display mode will let you have an unobstructed view of all the amazing pictures and videos you took on your iPad or you could watch a movie with your friends even.
The shell also comes with a camera cavity so you do not have to ever remove your iPad from the comfort of its new case.
Price and Availability
This beautiful piece of case definitely comes with a price and a hefty one for that. But if asked I would say it is definitely worth the investment.
I have been using the BookBook case for my MacBook since over a year now and even with a not so gentle use my MacBook case has had no signs of wear and tear. Verdict
The design, quality, usability, thoughtfulness, and protection provided by this case are 10/10 but simply because of the high prices I would rate it at a 8/10. Given the quality and detailed touches of this case, I would still recommend investing in one of these cases.
