Apple has always emphasized the privacy of users, but the company has continuously failed to keep their phone releases a hush-hush affair. A couple of years back, Tim Cook underlined the need to put tabs on product secrecy. However, everything is in vain as the brand could not curb rumor mills from leaking prototypes and concept images of future iPhones.
If you see the dummy units leaked by a concept designer, you will realize how false Mr. Cook’s claims were! Apple is planning to release three iPhone models in September this year: iPhone X Plus, 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus, and 6.1-inch iPhone. From the three, Ben Geskin has released a set of images, which are said to be dummy units of iPhone X Plus and 6.1-inch iPhone.

Take a look at the photos given below.
The photo provides a top view of the iPhone X Plus and 6.1-inch iPhone. You can see a notable difference between the camera modules for the two devices.
There were rumors that iPhone X Plus would have triple lens camera with improved zoom capabilities and advanced 3D sensing. However, the leaks suggest that we might have to wait until 2019 to see that iPhone equipped with triple lens camera system.
Rumors of prices used to be less exciting earlier. But this time, users have started to take an interest in the prices of upcoming iPhones.
Last year, users were disappointed with iPhone X prices and picked up iPhone 8 Plus. Having learned a lesson from this, Apple may release its 6.1-inch LCD iPhone with a price somewhere in the $600 to $700 range.
If the rumor turns out to be true, there is a strong chance the Apple will see a blizzard of upgrades as the 6.1-inch iPhone may be accepted in phenomenal numbers.
To meet the profit margin, Apple may introduce this 6.1-inch iPhone without 3D Touch and LCD display, and less RAM. It is also rumored that 6.1-inch iPhone may flaunt thicker bezels than the other two iPhones.
Apple’s price policy took a heavy toll on the sales of iPhone X last year. So much so that the brand was pushed back to number two position in the list of most valuable US brands.
Currently, Apple is pinning all its hope on the 6.1-inch iPhone, which can break existing iPhone sales records. Notably, Apple witnessed the record sales of 231.2 million iPhone models in 2015 with iPhone 6 as the hero.
Prices can always tip the scales in Apple’s favor. Last year, users were looking for other cheaper options of iPhone X. Those, who were not happy with iPhone 8 or 8 Plus, quickly grabbed Samsung and other Android devices. Apple cannot afford to repeat that mistake. Let’s see how the picture gets demystified.
