When is WWDC 2016

WWDC 2016 Will Begin from June 13

There have been a number of rumors trying to guess the next software update from Apple at the conference. Out of all, one of the most reliable is the release of iOS 10. That said, there are already different conceptual rumors floating over the internet on how the new iOS 10 will look like and what all new features it will have.

Apart from iOS update, people are also expecting Apple Watch 2 to be announced at WWDC 2016. That’s because there hasn’t been any major update in hardware since the Apple Watch is released. We have extracted the list of activities from the Press release that will undergo at the event, here it is;

#1. Over 1,000 Apple engineers supporting more than 150 hands-on labs and events to provide developers with code-level assistance, insight into optimal development techniques and guidance on how they can make the most of iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS technologies in their apps.

#2. Access to the latest innovations, features and capabilities of iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS, and best practices for enhancing an app’s functionality, performance, quality, and design.

#3. The opportunity to connect with thousands of fellow iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS developers from around the world – last year, 80 percent of developers attended for their first time, and in total, more than 70 countries were represented.

#4. A series of get-togethers for attendees focused on particular topics with special guest speakers and activities.

#5. Engaging and inspirational lunchtime sessions with trailblazers and influencers from the worlds of technology, science and entertainment; andThe Apple Design Awards which recognize iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac® apps that demonstrate technical excellence, innovation, and outstanding design.

As you can see, there is no mention about releasing new iOS or any of the new products. The element of surprise is what Apple has mastered over the years of experience, and we should keep ourselves ready for that surprise.
