When iPhone 7 was launched without a headphone jack, a lot of critics took a swipe at Apple. Though the audio jack-less iPhone has got the better response from a lot of fans, some users are apparently not too pleased with the removal of it.
If iPhone 7 is just the beginning, you must be ready to embrace the jack-less MacBook Pro. The rumor has it that Apple is planning to do away with age-old Headphone jack from the 2016 MacBook Pro as well.
MacBook to Get Rid of Headphone Jack As well
According to the reliable sources, the tech giant had geared up to introduce an all new MacBook Pro at the September 7 iPhone event but didn’t want it to be overshadowed by the new iPhone.
Part of the reason why the Cupertino-based company is in favor of the elimination of headphone jack is that it plans to promote its new wireless AirPods. The decision to hold back the release of new MacBook could also be because the tech giant wanted to gauge the reaction of users after using the headphone jack less iPhone 7.
Among several rumored features which are expected arrive with the soon-to-be-released MacBook, the one that has made a lot of buzzes is the OLED display touch panel which would replace the physical function key. What makes the OLED display so user-friendly is that it will change itself by apps. It’s also being called as the “Dynamic Function Row.” The new MacBook is rumored to be a lot thinner and lighter and will boast of the gorgeous display.
As per the latest report by Gartner, the sales of Mac have considerably gone down since fans are eagerly awaiting the update. The tech giant is expected to unveil the new MacBook Pro by the end of October.
