Apple announces the release of Security Update 2015-003 1.0 for its Yosemite users who are using OS X 10.10.2. The announcement came after a forth-night later when a researcher brought security flaw issue in force and brought this into light.

A forth-night before whenmany MacBook got hacked –a security flaw called FREAK (Factoring Attack on RSA-EXPORT Keys), though, it was soon fixed by launching betas for Safari on Mavericks and Mountain Lion. The previous security version has some other loopholes too. Such as iPhoto issues that used not function properly. Now the version is so called Security Update 2015-003 1.0 was released, fixing all the previous issues.

Apple Rolls Out Security Update for OS X  Yosemite 10.10.2 and iPhotoYesterday in the afternoon Apple released the separate update for:

#1. Early 2015 MacBooks &New MacBook Air lineup.

#2. 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro with Force Touch trackpad

You can get security update through the Mac App Store from Updates section. The new update fixes the following issue:

  • No need to scare of FREAK (Factoring Attack on RSA-EXPORT Keys) issue that caused many devices got hacked previously.
  • The new update fixed iPhoto issue –that was complained to become unresponsive while printing it.
  • Facebook album issue –that used to display only the 25 photos from the beginning.

Moreover, the new Security Updates strengthens the compatibility for the iPhoto libraries while transferring them to new Photos app in the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3.
