According to the latest Forbes rankings, Apple has been ranked as the most valuable brand in the world. In spite of recording the first negative growth quarter since 2003 in the wake of the dismal sales of iPhone, iPad, Mac, and MackBooks, the Cupertino-based company has continued to be the favorite brand globally.

Google, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, and Facebook have been placed at the second, third, fourth and fifth place respectively. Apple has topped the coveted ranking for the sixth consecutive number of times thanks to its immaculate popularity ahead of its traditional rivals like Google and Microsoft.

With $154.1 billion brand value -up 6% from the previous year, Apple is considered to be far ahead of its nearest rival Google with $82.5 brand value.

Coca-Cola, Facebook, Toyota, IBM, Disney, McDonald’s, GE, Samsung, Amazon, AT&T, BMW have been included in the top fifteen brands globally.

Though Apple’s stock value has dropped by around 30%, it is still at the top with more than $510 brand value.

The news must be shot in the arm for the tech giant which is going through one the toughest times of its history. However, with the iPhone 7 all geared up to arrive later this year, its fortune may once again see amazing results.

Whenever challenging times have come, the Apple has overcome it with appreciable performance.

Over the years, its products have signified innovation like very few other competitive brands. That’s the prime reason why there is immaculate loyalty among fans.
