No matter what functions and features iPhone offer, the basic thing is calling. Having said that, it would be great to have some of the favorite contacts appear in the 3D Touch shortcut menu for quick calling.
In case you aren’t aware of it, then let me tell you, it’s very much possible. On top of that, it’s very simple to setup as well. So what’s pulling you? Just dive south and learn the process of adding your favorite contacts to 3D Touch shortcut menu.
How to Get Favorite Contacts in 3D Touch Shortcut Menu of iPhone 6s/6s Plus
Step #1. Open the Phone app on your iPhone.
Step #2. Head to the Favorites tab. In case you don’t have any Favorite contacts added, tap on the “+” sign at the top-right corner and add your frequently called contacts to the Favorite list.
Step #3. Once you are done adding your Favorite contacts, exit the Phone app.
Step #4. Now 3D Touch on the Phone app on Home Screen and you will get to see the contacts you added to the Favorite list.
One thing to note here is that only a certain number of contacts appear in the 3D Touch shortcut menu. If you have a long list of Favorite contacts, then follow the guide till Step #2 and instead of the “+” sign, tap the Edit option located opposite to it. Now rearrange (Tap & hold on the tiny 3 lines next to the contact and drag the contact as per your need) the priority contacts to the top of the list so that they appear in the 3D Touch shortcut menu.
