Ever since Google announced “Google Home”- a Wi-Fi enabled personal assistant- to compete with Amazon Echo, there has been huge curiosity about its features.

#1. According to The Information, Google Home will share a number of hardware components with Chromecast-TV streaming device.
It will enable people to ask for Google queries, book flight, manage everyday tasks and more.
#2. It will have the same dual-core ARM-based microprocessor, 4GB of RAM, and a dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi chip.
#3. Because of the striking similarity with Chromecast, Google Home is dubbed as “Dressed up Version” of the TV streaming device.
#4. It will feature a microphone, speaker, plastic top with LED lights, and a fabric or metal bottom.
#5. Moreover, it will be powered by the same Linux-based OS used on the Chromecast. As against rumors, it won’t run on Android.
