#1. Use the volume + to take photos

While on camera mode simply press the + volume button, it will work like a cable release on a camera taking the photo without having to press any buttons on touch the screen on your iPhone.

This feature is great for taking selfies as it reduces shaking of your phone eliminating blur from your photos

#2. Convert your Calculator to Scientific Format

Simply turn your calculator sideways and it converts to a scientific calculator. This is great for students that need to work on complex equations but don’t want to spend the money on a high-end calculator.

#3. Charge your iPhone in half the time

By putting your iPhone on airplane mode while charging it will fill up twice as fast taking only half the time to reach 100%. This is because airplane mode turns off all services that require data usage.

At a time while your iPhone is charging it’s still running services and applications which takes up battery power and increases the charge time.

This is great if you only have a short amount of time before you have to head out and want to give your iPhone a quick charge.

#4. Scroll to top

If you’ve wandered all the way to the bottom of a site and don’t want to scroll back up, simply tap on the header bar. This will instantly bring you back to the top of the page.

This trick works on almost all the apps including stock apps like Safari to third-party apps like Instapaper.

#5. Set music stop on a timer

If you like to listen to music while you sleep, then this feature is simply a must. When playing music from your iPhone (not streaming) you can go to the Clock app’s Timer menu set a time and select the “Stop Playing” option.

This will turn off your music when the timer reaches zero.

#6. Switch from Photo to Video

While taking photos, if you quickly want to switch to taking video simply from left to right. This is quicker than having to press the icon on the lower left and works both ways. You can go from Video to Camera or vise versa.
