24me iPhone App Update to v3 for iOS 8: Now Features NC Widgets and Rich Notes

24me is an all-in-one sort of a smart assistant app for the iPhone. We briefly covered it when we were talking about smart assistants for the iPhone but obviously, that does not do justice to this amazing iOS app.

In its latest incarnation, 24me is compatible with iOS 8 and features – most notably – Today widgets that you can use on your iPhone/iPad. With widgets and extra features, 24me turns out to be a really powerful smart assistant that can handle most of the things in your life.

If there’s one app that has an exceptional design that’s feature-rich but still simple enough, I’d pick 24me.

One of the biggest problems that I know of with smart assistant apps is the inherent complexity of information. These apps deal with your calendar events, reminders, to-dos, (some also act as a note-taking app) etc.

There’s a lot of information from various segments and most of the apps I’ve seen/used feel kind of incoherent.

Widget Notification on 24me iPhone App24me, at its core functionality, is a Smart Personal Assistant. Think of calendars, tasks and reminders. It can seamlessly connect to any of your calendars (Google, iCloud, Microsoft Exchange etc.)

It not only integrates data seamlessly but it then acts on the data to create auto-generators (for tasks and reminders) that make life simpler.

24me iPhone App Adds Notification Center Widgets, Rich NotesIn the new version (3.0), 24me brings a new feature: smart notes. This is basically a note-taking feature but where it excels is this: you can add rich multimedia notes like video snippets and share them with your friends easily.

It’s akin to a very personal collection of all important things that you can then share with friends and family.

24me’s update also brings a very important feature to the table: NC Widgets. With iOS 8, Apple is allowing third-party apps to show information right on the Notification Center in the form of widgets.

With widgets, you can interact with the notifications in more powerful ways than just swiping/tapping them to go to the app. With 24me’s widget, all your reminders, events, tasks are shown right on your Notification Center’s Today View.

The best thing about 24me is that it’s free on the App Store. You can get started in no time and before long, you’ll find out why it’s rated high on the charts.
