Analyst Kuo Says Three New Apple 2020 iPhones to Support 5G

According to Analyst Kuo, the three new Apple iPhone 2020 Models will support 5G technology, says media. The new Apple iPhone 2020 models will offer speed, AR/VR, and overall better experience to customers.

Ace Apple Analyst Kuo Ming-Chi from TF International Securities has indicated as per Macrumors, that new Apple iPhone 2020 models will support 5G. This is also in line with what he had forecast, earlier.

Earlier, Apple was having legal disputes with 5G chipmaker Qualcomm with whom it sealed a deal recently. Now, whereby Qualcomm will provide the chipsets enabling Apple iPhone to be compatible with 5G technology. All this to provide excellent AR/VR at enhanced speeds, and host of other experiences to its consumers in the US.

Apple iPhones Gaining Insights on 5G Launch by Verizon in the US 

Verizon has recently launched 5G services in 5 US cities (Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, Providence, St Pauls, and launch in 30 US cities by 2019). It has also invited Apple iPhone users to access its services. Apple currently has no model in its stable with 5G compatibility. Whether the new 2020 iPhone models will support both mmWave and Sub-6GHz spectrum is a big question? Also whether Apple will launch a 5G iPhone that only supports Sub-6GHz, in a lower price band is another one. OLED displays with 6.7-inch, 5.4-inch, and 6.1-inch screens, 5nm SoCs (systems-on-chip) to play console-quality games longer without draining too much battery and more.

Kuo was quoted noting, “The key is that consumers will think that 5G is the necessary function in 2H20. Therefore, iPhone models which will sell at higher prices have to support 5G for winning more subsidies from mobile operators and consumers’ purchase intention.”

In short, Apple anticipates its customers to draw full advantage of the wide range of 5G networks services, and extract a premium on its offers. With the launch of 5G services in the US, the race hots up for smartphones makers like Apple, Samsung, LG, Motorola, and others to fight out for their market shares.
